This is a directional sighting apparatus for aerial navigation, filed incidentally on 1907-09-04. A few foreign filings, some touching similar content, have led to a target Patent DE-1907-09-03 Siemens-Schuckert Werke GmbH, on which date possibly a few patents were filed by this firm, in Germany. They will have to be differentiated. Patent FR-1908-393597 describes quite similar material, and its diagrams are grandly elaborated and inclusive of one element similar to that found in the German patent's one simple diagram. The firm may have filed another patent, related to this one, in Germany, one day earlier, whether or not it was accepted by the German office.
